Thank you for taking the time to visit the Lodge Polkemmet 927 website. I am Gordon McConnell, Right Worshipful Master of the lodge for the year 2012. I do hope you will find our website useful and informative.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Past Masters and Office Bearers of Lodge Polkemmet for affording me the honour, privilege and pleasure of taking the chair in my mother lodge. Whilst in the chair I will do everything I can to take Lodge Polkemmet forward. My sincere gratitude goes out to my Installing Masters PM Bro. W James Hilditch, PM Bro. J Shaw McIntyre and PM Bro. Colin Fraser for the manner which they conducted the ceremony of installation. It is a day I will never forget and I would like to thank everyone who attended on 17 December 2011, you all helped to make it such an amazing experience.
Over the coming year it is my intention to visit as many lodges as possible, both within and outwith the Province, flying the colours of Lodge Polkemmet as frequently as I can. I would love to be accompanied on these visitations by as many of the Lodge Polkemmet brethren as possible, as I am sure these lodges would also welcome and appreciate this support.
To visiting brethren, I extend a very warm and cordial welcome to you to come along to Whitburn and enjoy the hospitality of Lodge Polkemmet. We meet at 7.30pm on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from September through to April. We very much look forward to you joining us.
