Welcome to the Lodge Polkemmet 927 website, and thank you for taking the trouble to visit us online. I am Grant McLennan, Right Worshipful Master of the Lodge for the year 2013. I hope that you will find this site useful and informative.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Past Masters, Office Bearers and Brethren of Lodge Polkemmet for affording me the honour of taking the chair in this, my Mother Lodge. It is indeed a privilege to serve as the Master of Polkemmet. I am very grateful to my Installing Masters Bro. Shaun R. T. Benfold PM, Bro. Iain E. Armstrong PM and Bro. Alan C. Stewart PM for the manner in which they conducted the ceremony of Installation on Saturday 15 December 2012. It is without a doubt a day I will never forget and I would like to thank all of those friends, from both near and far, who attended the ceremony.
With the assistance of the Office Bearers of the Lodge, I aim to continue to delivery the exceptional standard of ceremonial that has been the hallmark of our proceedings since the foundation of the Lodge in 1902. In addition, I hope to visit as many Lodges as I can, flying the colours of Lodge Polkemmet as often as possible.
To visiting Brethren, I extend a very warm and cordial welcome to you to come along to Whitburn and enjoy the hospitality of Lodge Polkemmet. We meet at 7.30pm on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from September through to April. We very much look forward to you joining us.
