Welcome

wreath

On 14th July 2016 members of the lodge gathered in Whitburn Cemetery to mark 100 years since the funeral of Private William E. Frame who was Senior Deacon when he enlisted in 1915. He was wounded in France on 1st July 1916 and died in 2nd Birmingham War Hospital on the 9th July 1916. Of the members of the lodge who died in the Great War he is as far as we can ascertain the only one to be buried in Whitburn.

Can I as RWM of Lodge Polkemmet No 927 for 2015-16 welcome you to our website. On behalf of the Past Masters, Office-bearers and Brethren of the Lodge can I thank everyone who attended the Installation and Festival of St John and made it such a memorable occasion once again. I would like to thank our members for allowing me the honour of being RWM for another year. I am really looking forward to working with the Office-bearers and brethren to further the interests of the Lodge. I am also looking  forward to extending the hand of fellowship to all our visitors throughout the year.
